As part of the support for student engineering development projects, MTÜ Droonilabor has received a grant of €100,000 in 2025 for the “Blue Sparrow 2025” project.

The project’s objectives are:
1. To build a fully autonomous biplane delivery drone;
2. To inspire young people in engineering;
3. The team’s successful participation in the international unmanned aerial vehicle competition IMechE UAS Challenge in England;

The project is funded from the state budget through research and development funding.
